We went to Beaver Creek with Ashley’s family to get away from Miami and enjoy some winter weather. Ashley took up snowboarding for the first time and did pretty well. We had a great time. Looking forward to doing it again next year. Photos

Dave & Christina, along with Sara & Rich, came down to Miami for some sun and fun. We had a great day in a cabana at the Mondrian next to Jeremy Shockey and some awesome dinners.

Thanksgiving in Dallas and Grandpa’s Bday

We went to Dallas, TX a week before Thanksgiving for Ashley’s Grandfather’s (left) 90th birthday as well as celebrating Thanksgiving with the rest of her family. It was wonderful to see both of Ashley’s grandparents and spend time with her family.

Ashley’s college friend Dana, who lives in Denver, got married in Colorado Springs at the Broadmoor Hotel. We had an amazing time with her friends and just love Colorado in the fall.

Virginia Visit

Ashley had business in Herndon, Virginia on Friday and since my sisters Jennifer and Cindy live nearby we decided to take a long weekend to see them. I arrived on Thursday morning and played with my nieces Marisa and Alayna all day. On Friday my sisters, the kids, and I went to the community pool in Jennifer’s development as my brother-in-law John and Ashley were at work. Afterward we all met up for dinner at Uncle Julio’s Rio Grande in The Herndon Town Center and then headed to a concert in the park featuring a Dave Matthew’s cover band. Saturday was our day with Marisa. Cindy, Ashley, Marisa, and I went ice skating then on to Cindy’s pool for a swim. We ended the day with dinner at Jen and John’s house and Cold Stone Ice Cream as we walked around their local mall in the beautiful weather. Check out the pics here.

Lucky Strike

We went to Lucky Strike recently in South Beach with our friends. We ate and bowled a game before heading out to the bars. Daryl and Ivory seemed to practice regularly.

Sicily

We just came back from Sicily where our close friends Dave and Christina were married. We spent 8 days traveling throughout Sicily and even got to see some family. Check out our trip here.
